Blair Reporting Services was founded in 1994 by Janie L. Blair. Ms. Blair attended The Stenotype Institute in Springfield, Ohio. Prior to completing the program there she was offered a position at a Dayton area court reporting firm so finished her education at the Dayton School of Court Reporting. It was there that she acquired experience working with many of the top Dayton area attorneys, including depositions, hearings, trials, and board meetings.

Her background includes working as a legal secretary and paralegal in several Dayton area law firms, a registered Notary Public since 1987 and a member of NCRA (National Court Reporters’ Association) since 1991.

In 1994 Ms. Blair branched out to begin her own business, Blair Reporting Services, and incorporated in 2005. For over a decade, Blair Reporting Services has been offering a wide variety of services to the legal and court reporting communities, including medical and technical depositions and hearings.

Ms. Blair continues to attend court reporting seminars to stay current with the most advanced court reporting technology, enabling Blair Reporting Services the ability to help serve their clients in the best way possible.
